"The spirit of this blog is play" - David Bridburg aka JazzDaBri

Post Modern artwork takes all in and recreates. As a digital artist, David Bridburg finds the nooks and crannies of fine art. David never settles on a style, retaining his art school spirit. Trained in the 1980s, echos of Postmodernism theory are ever present. Bridburg's art spans a divide in time as humanity enters the digital age.

Mozart Classical Music

Mozart was the ultimate child prodigy. First on violin, then on piano. The composer epitomized classical music in his scores. Light between the notes was the hallmark of the era. Organized beyond belief, Mozart left a great mark on music for the ages.

JazzDaBri prints include eight pianos images as both the baby grands and the upright instruments.

Baby Grand Piano

This blazing piano print is dedicated in memory of Ludwig van Beethoven, the great classical music creative.

Music is an exploration. Pianos more than other instruments allow the composer a greater range and more organization.

Upright Piano

" our restless world like this is, love has ended before it's begun..." - When I Fall in Love - Nat King Cole.

Nat King Cole invented cool on a piano keyboard. Elegant and effortless vocals, wonderful lyrics, and sweeping arrangements, Cole was one of the most popular entertainers of his generation. His soft jazz music talking to an intimate music friend over candle light.
JazzDaBri's pianos on prints have a spontaneity.

Jazz Piano Print

Music Friends Around the Piano

"....if you should miss the A Train, you'll miss the quickest way to get to Harlem...." - Take The A Train - Billy Strayhorn, played by Duke Ellington on piano, surrounded by music friends.
Ellington's reputation keeps growing long since his passing. His jazz music arrangements and compositions are known for their clarity and sophistication. Pianos, singers, writers, horns......Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington in retrospect is considered America's greatest 20th century composer.
JazzDaBri lends an ear with this wonderful print.

Pianos Friends

Jazz Players and Pianos

"'ve got to feel that heat, and we can ride the boogie...." - Off The Wall - Produced by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones Jr.

Quincy Jones is considered one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century. Stumbling onto a piano during a break and enter, Jones fell in love with playing pianos and other instruments. Music became his ultimate friend. Prints by JazzDaBri.

Slow Hand

The ever famous graffiti in London, "Clapton is God". The birth of "Slow Hand" on guitar as a legend. Cream was early metal. Together they inspired a generation. Electric Blues rock music was Eric's after life. Virtuoso on many guitars, acoustic and electric, blues, rock and country music, home became LA to London.

JazzDaBri's print is a cool blue minimalist creation. Engaging music friends, add an elegant statement to your studio walls.

Red Hot Rock

The heat is coming off this rock poster.

" it's a hot one, like seven inches from the mid day sun..." Carlos Santana - Smooth featuring Rob Thomas.
Santana's electric guitar playing is full of character music note for note. Mixing Mexican themes and Latin Jazz, Carlos is one of the most inspired rock musicians of our time. Guitars and women, good or bad.

Purple Electric

Psychedelic Rock

"...excuse me, while I kiss the sky.." Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze.

The rock music is soaring in these prints of guitars by JazzDaBri.
Hendrix is completely unforgettable on guitar. Forever an American icon tragically lost to us. The Star Spangled Banner, and the war, completely rewritten earlier one morning in Woodstock, NY. Jimi was perhaps the most creative force in rock guitar. Everyone's friend in music, Jimi lives on through his gifts to us.

Electric Bass Energy

"....the future becomes the past, so you can press rewind..." Solo rock funk mix by Divinity Roxx. Roxx plays bass guitar, and other guitars, as Beyonce's "Musical Director". Divinity is one of the biggest names in the industry today. She has a true sense of style.

JazzDaBri's Electric Bass in Green brings home Hip Hop energies.

Guitars Blazing

Guitars all on fire

"......been dazed and confused...for so long it's not true...I wanted a woman, never bargained for you..." Robert Plant on vocal, John Paul Jones Electric Bass Guitar. Led Zeppelin in the house.

John Paul Jones is one of the most successful rock musicians of all time. Multi talented on guitars, keyboards, etc.....he is the back bone sound of Zeppelin, and more recently Them Crooked Vultures. His music lives on with today's young folks. This print is red hot.

Bass Guitar Rock Friend

Music Friend Bass Guitars

".....maybe I'm a lonely man who's in the middle of something that he really doesn't understand..." Sir James Paul McCartney - the incomparable electric bass guitar player. McCartney plays several different types of guitars.
The public simply sees Paul as a music friend. Someone who reaches us. Someone we welcome into our living rooms. The charming rock star. JazzDaBri prints are a unique mix of character and ageless minimalism.

Blue Country Music Acoustic

".....go rest high on that mountain...son your work on earth is done" Vince Gill, American Country Music star. One of the loneliest voices in country, Gill is a very versatile musician. His acoustic guitar accompaniment is from a simpler day in America.

The whole is greater than the parts. This minimalist image bears that out.

Acoustic Guitar Print

".....they buried him beneath the willow..." Brad Paisley, American Country Music star. The easy green in this print speaks volumes to nature. Paisley is as much at home on an electric guitar as an acoustic guitar.

Music needs strings, so they say. JazzDaBri simplifies this image. The harmony in this artwork comes through for your enjoyment.

Country Music Prints

Acoustic Guitar Country Music Prints

Set the world ablaze with an acoustic guitar. Prints by JazzDaBri offer something truly unique.
Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" comes to mind. Country music would never be the same. Mexican influences meeting Scots-Irish country. Forbidden love rising through the flames.

"I keep a close watch on this heart of mine...." Johnny Cash - I Walk the Line

Blues The Storied Saxophonist

Deep Blue Jazz Saxophonist

The minimalist raw line work of a saxophone in the hands of an abstracted jazz player, this image has pathos.
Thinking back to saxophonist Dexter Gordon. Sonny Rollins, and John Coltrane inspiring each other endlessly. Learning and developing modern jazz. Gordon often played behind the beat. His musical language was large, spacious.

Jazz Saxophone Orange Chocolate

Jazz Saxophone - Saxophonist

Charlie Parker, known as "Yardbird", was the most influential saxophonist. Developing bebop, a virtuoso on the saxophone, the Bird was a great composer. Ushering more complex harmonies into jazz, Parker truly began the modern jazz era.
Jazz is a truly unique mix of American art and ideas. Prints are available.

Saxophone in Red

This is a hot jazz. The abstract cat is on Saxophone.

John William Coltrane was a saxophonist at the forefront of "Free Jazz". That liberty is in this artwork. Coltrane was endlessly talented, appearing on many recordings. Most notably he creates on "Kind of Blue" and "Blue Train".

Violin in an Air Ease

Classical music has many heroic ideas. Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D, Op 35 is the quintessential violin piece of music. The violinists set the rhythm as a virtuoso soars on their instrument. The Romantic era work is demonstrative of Tchaikovsky's family ties to the Russian Empire's military. The motif of glorious victory ever present. The counter point in abstract terms is an individual's sorrow.

The green in this image gives off an air of ease.

Exciting Violin

Violinist in Orange Red

This exciting print is in a fiery orange red. The white violin and black violinist have a great feeling of depth as the image pops. The instrument is associated with genres from classical music to blue grass.

We can hear Vivaldi's Spring. The Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, nicknamed il Prete Rosso ("The Red Priest") because of his red hair, was an Italian Baroque composer, priest, and virtuoso violinist, born in Venice.

Violinist in Purple

The elegant silhouette of a female violinist, bow drawn. The line work on the violin is a mix of understated approaches. The abstract figure, with hints of a form, is in motion.
The violin is synonymous with classical music.

Beethoven's 5th Symphony Opening Classical

The opening notes to Beethoven's symphony are Morse Code for "V". The BBC during WW II would open each radio show with these music notes symbolizing a belief in Victory. Churchill would don with his hand two fingers to bring the allies together, a V.

The 5th symphony is synonymous with classical music. The simply rhythm naturally delights people. Little known, Americans buy more classical recordings than do Europeans.

Beethoven Music Notes in Black

Beethoven's 5th Symphony, the opening Music Notes

Perhaps the best known snippet of classical music, the clarion call of the hunt is unmistakable. These music notes put in motion a symphony with an uncanny resolution.
Beethoven lived a troubled life with many ups and downs. Probably bipolar, he wrote composed by hand in a rushed way. Later in life going very deaf, in his mind, Beethoven could compose without ever again hearing it in concert.
